Our Journey & Milestones
Founding of Socare Ind
Established in June by Mr. V. Mani and Mrs. Saroji Mani, moved by the sight of children crying outside Bangalore Central Jail.
Sringeri Sharada Peetam Adoption
Blessed and adopted as a unit of Sri Sharada Peetam, Sringeri, by Sri Sri Mahaswamiji, providing a divine foundation.
Harmony Silvers Award
Recognized nationally for outstanding social service and the impact created in the lives of vulnerable children.
Rotary Exemplars Recognition
Adjudged as an "Outstanding NGO" by the Rotary Club of Bangalore for commitment to child welfare.

Growing Like a Banyan Tree
From 4 children in 1999 to over 150 lives transformed, Socare Ind has grown into a deep-rooted institution of hope.
The boys’ hostel at Laggere, Bangalore, commissioned in 2014, can house 150 children. In 2019, we rebuilt the girls' hostel to accommodate 70 girls in modern facilities.
A branch at Gulbarga, set up in 2011, shelters 50 boys and includes infrastructure for a Skill Development Centre.
Our facilities feature common kitchens, digital libraries, solar power grids, and high-speed internet, ensuring our children have the best environment to succeed.
