Learn MoreSocare Ind is dedicated to providing shelter, education, and healthcare to children in need, helping them build a brighter and more secure future.
Socare Ind (Society’s Care for Indigent) is the labour of love of the late Mr V Mani and Mrs Saroji Mani, who started the organization in 1999, post retirement as an Assistant General Manager, Reserve Bank of India. Born into a middle class family, he grew up with good morals and values, building a strong foundation in life. While commuting to work every day, he used to pass by the Bangalore Central Jail where he observed children crying outside the gates. With the breadwinner of the family in prison, these children had absolutely no support from society. Before retirement, he decided to contribute towards making life better for these children.
